The Roving Archive

Archiving | Mapping | Web Design | Detroit

The Roving Archive documents organizations that operate with a collective mission and foster art-based initiatives within their unique Detroit neighborhoods. Through collection of both anecdotal, demographic, and geospatial research, alongside extensive photo-documentation, we built an online archive supported by printed maps to highlight the unique ecosystem of artist initiatives throughout the city. Collaboratively designed with Emily J. Anderson.
